033 – Midnight Storm On Full Moon
Acrylic paint on canvas
40cm x 50cm
Painted with the moon in view but the ocean by memory as I was further than five kilometres from the beach. While Sydney was locked down the ocean and moon looked over me. I’m imagining the surf by moonlight while traveling in lockdown. Every trip outside of home has resulted in being lit up by highway patrol and questioned by police. I’m in favour of lockdown, whatever they can do to keep us safe and healthy is favoured by me; but New South Wales police just love to exercise a bit more power. I love the full moon, I love to see that moon. I love to hear the surf.
