I’m not black, I’m not white – I’m what colour I am. And I am proud of my background, no matter what the history, because all of that put together ultimately makes up Marley Fischer, and if I were to hate any parts of the roots, it would be like hating myself. To conclude, growing up in a very racist society where people did not see me as indigenous or white. I felt like I have a lack of identity, and it makes me feel very lost at times.
